In this session you will learn

You will learn:

  • The ‘4 parts of Expansional Balance’ – as taught by dr. Ida Rolf, creator of Structural Integration or ‘Rolfing’;

  • The different diaphragms of the body – as referenced by dr. John Upledger, creator of Craniosacral Therapy;

  • The diaphragms’ energetic counterparts and their associated emotions, sensations and subtle movements, and how they impact the 3 planes of your body, and overall alignment.

You will also be shown how to use the breath and develop increasingly fine-tuned perception to make the best use of these principles and gain greater self-awareness and understanding, supporting your personal growth.

 

Benefits: A body that is well integrated is more vital and therefore remains younger and healthier; it is stronger and more powerful, more fluid and flexible, more stable and balanced. It has a better energy flow and therefore is more energy efficient and has better access to its internal healing ability. It can absorb impact more smoothly and is therefore less prone to injury… it is also one through which one’s soul can express itself more freely and completely, and one’ spirit can more readily manifest itself and realize its purpose.

 

Note: This work is highly encouraged in conjunction with all other forms of bodywork and will help support, improve upon, and refine their effects to the degree it is put in application.

 

Be advised: Although everyone will somehow benefit from this information, the degree to which you apply yourself to put these principles in practice in your day-to-day life, and no matter where you start from, will define its outcome. This process may also bring to light roadblocks needing to be addressed and motivate you to seek more understanding and support as led. As you allow the work to unfold and follow its lead, your alignment will keep on improving.
